Eligibility of Admission of Regular candidates:
The examination shall be open to a pupil of an institution recognized by the Board who has his/ her name submitted to the Secretary by the Head of the Institution and who is certified by the Head of the institution:-
To have been registered with the Board and completed the adequate course of study leading to the examination;
To be of a good character;
To have attained the age of 14 years (+) on the Ist. Of November/Ist of May of the year in which he/she takes the examination.
The expression “ adequate course of study” means 66% of attendance counted from the opening of class X up to the First of the month preceding the month in which the examination of the Board commences. Candidates taking up a subject involving practical work shall be required to have put in 70% of the total periods of practical work in the laboratory in the concerned subjects.
