NEET के रिजल्ट पर रोक : फिलहाल सुनवाई से सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने किया इनकार

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने NEET के टेस्ट को रद्द करने की याचिका पर फिलहाल सुनवाई से इनकार किया है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि मद्रास हाईकोर्ट पहले ही मामले की सुनवाई कर रहा है और उसने NEET के रिजल्ट पर रोक भी लगा दी है. ऐसे में याचिकाकर्ता अगले हफ्ते दोबारा केस को सुप्रीम कोर्ट के सामने मेंशन करें.  NGO संकल्प चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट की ओर से सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिका दाखिल कर कहा गया है कि 7 मई को हुई NEET की परीक्षा को रद्द किया जाना चाहिए, क्योंकि अलग-अलग भाषाओं में दिए गए टेस्ट पेपर में प्रश्न अलग-अलग रहे और ये नियमों के खिलाफ हैं. इसके अलावा बिहार में पेपर लीक भी हुआ इसलिए इस मामले की जांच सीबीआई से कराई जाए.

इससे पहले खबर आई थी कि मद्रास हाई कोर्ट ने NEET यानी कॉमन मेडिकल इंट्रेंस एक्‍जाम के रिजल्‍ट पर रोक लगा दी है. इस संबंध में सीबीएसई को रिजल्‍ट ऐलान नहीं करने का निर्देश दिया गया है. दरअसल, मद्रास उच्च न्यायालय ने 7 मई को हुई राष्ट्रीय पात्रता सह प्रवेश परीक्षा (नीट) को रद्द करने की मांग करने वाली एक याचिका पर सीबीएसई से बीती 22 मई को जवाब मांगा. यह परीक्षा अंडरग्रेजुएट मेडिकल एवं डेंटल पाठ्यक्रमों में दाखिले के लिए उम्मीदवारों के चयन के लिए हुई थी.

न्यायमूर्ति आर महादेवन की अवकाशकालीन पीठ ने मेडिकल की पढ़ाई करने के इच्छुक एक छात्र की मां की याचिका पर नोटिस जारी करते हुए सीबीएसई से जवाब मांगा था. याचिकाकर्ता ने याचिका में दावा किया है कि परीक्षा ने संविधान के अनुच्छेद 14 के तहत छात्रों के समानता के अधिकार का उल्लंघन किया है.

Eligibility to appear in NEET-UG

Eligibility for appearing in NEET-UG is as stipulated in Indian Medical Council Act-1956/Regulations as amended
in 2016 and the Dentists Act-1948/Regulations as amended in 2016.

(a) He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1styear MBBS/BDS Course.

(b) The upper age limit for NEET is 25 years as on the date of examination with the relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST category. (As per letter no. U.12023/16/2010- ME-II dated 17.01.2017
received from MoH&FW) The Age criteria for appearing in NEET (UG), 2017 is as follows:

  • For Candidates of Unreserved Category (UR) born on or between 08.05.1992 and 01.01.2001
  • For Candidates of SC/ST/OBC Category born on or between 08.05.1987 and 01.01.2001

(c) The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at NEET-UG examination shall be limited to 3 (three) uniformly to all the candidates. The candidates who have already appeared in NEET/NEET on three occasions are not allowed to take this examination. The candidates will be required to give an undertaking in this regard and submitting false undertaking may result in cancellation of the candidature and action in accordance with norms for handling UFM cases. (d) The previous attempts in NEET/NEET will be counted against these 3 permissible attempts. The candidates who have already exhausted their allowed 3 attempts are not eligible to apply for NEET (UG), 2017.

(e) Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Oversees Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) & Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear in NEET (UG)-2017. (As per letter no. U.12023/16/2010- ME-II
